The Snowy Day...


It started snowing at about 11:00 this morning. It was still snowing after school, so Kelsey decided to help her dad shovel the driveway. Yesterday, the girls and I went to the boys basketball game in Rosholt. Eric is coaching the 7th and 8th grade team for the rest of the season, as the former coach unexpectantly quit. He seemed to really enjoy it, which makes me wonder if he'll want to return to coaching next year?!

The girls have ice skating lessons in Watertown tomorrow. On Sunday, we are riding with the ice skating club to "Stars on Ice," in Minneapolis. The girls are pretty excited about going, but it will be a long trip. I will take pictures and post them when we get home.

YOGA ROCKS

I actually made it to yoga today....10 minutes late! Sounds like in March it will start at 4:15 instead. It was very peaceful. I really saw the light when she hit the gong! Cool........

Hello Ladies,
I'm pumped because I actually ran yesterday during my walking workout! Yea, the longest I've run in a long time. Plan on doing some more today... my goal will be to be able to run to my mailbox by the time Spring rolls around! So keep going.... I'll catch up with you eventually! :) How far do you all walk/run in a normal week?

Streaky

My exercising seems very "streaky". On Saturday, Carrie J and I went out for a nice, cold run, and Sunday I went out and felt really good! Monday was busy and wet, Tuesday I went to yoga and really liked it, and I hope to go on Thursday. I know I need to make myself go, but there is just so much to do! I wish I needed less sleep! Everyone hang in there.....spring is right around the corner???

Run

Let's find one! I went out for about 2 miles Thursday night, braving the dark and ice, and maybe 1 1/2 miles on Friday after school. I felt REALLY GOOD on Thursday and so-so on Friday. I thought YOGA was the key to not being tired but who knows? OK, Carrie J and I are on for a Saturday AM run, and I think both Carrie's and I should shoot for YOGA at 4:00 on TUESDAY. Yes! Let's Go Girls!

Ok Ladies, I'm still staying true and working out at least 5 days a week. But in all honestly I cannot do both walking and yoga. Too much time... I will try my yoga on the weekends. What kind of run is coming up in this spring? Close to home would be nice.... Keep going summer is just around the corner!
